Rivalix is a mobile app that allows users to create leagues, save tournament predictions, compare results with other users, and access optional premium cosmetic features.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data, depending on how you use the app:

Account data

• Email address

• Alias / username

• Authentication identifiers generated by Supabase Auth

App content you create

• Group-stage predictions

• Knockout-stage predictions

• League participation and membership

• Favorite team / selected cosmetic preferences

• Premium state and purchased cosmetic entitlements

Device and technical data

• Basic device, app, and session information required to operate, maintain, and secure the app

• Advertising-related technical data processed by advertising partners when ads are shown

Purchase data

If in-app purchases are enabled in the version of the app you use, we may process:

• Product identifiers

• Store transaction tokens / purchase references

• Premium entitlement status

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health data, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise location.

3. Data Visible to Other Users

Because Rivalix is a social prediction app built around leagues and competition, certain information may be visible to other users within the app, including:

• Your alias / username

• Your participation in leagues

• Your standings or ranking within a league

• Your predictions, where those predictions are shown as part of league features or comparison features

We do not publicly display your email address to other users through normal app functionality.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account

• Authenticate you and maintain your session

• Let you create, join, and participate in leagues

• Save and display your predictions

• Calculate standings, scores, rankings, and tournament views

• Enable optional premium features and cosmetics

• Show ads to non-premium users, where applicable

• Process purchases and restore entitlements, where applicable

• Provide support, maintain security, and prevent abuse

• Comply with legal obligations

5. Legal Bases

Where applicable under relevant law, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide the app and its core features

• Legitimate interests: to maintain app security, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and operate the service

• Consent: where required, including for specific privacy choices or permissions

• Legal obligation: where required by applicable law

6. Authentication Providers

You may sign in using:

• Email and password

• Google Sign-In

• Apple Sign-In, where available in the relevant version or platform release

When you use a third-party sign-in provider, we receive the account information necessary to authenticate you and create or link your profile.

7. Ads

Rivalix may display banner and interstitial ads to non-premium users through Google Mobile Ads or related advertising services.

When ads are shown, Google and its partners may process advertising-related technical data in accordance with their own policies. We configure our Google Play disclosures and privacy declarations to reflect the ad setup used in the version of the app distributed through Google Play.

8. Sharing of Data

We may share data only with service providers and platforms necessary to operate the app, such as:

• Supabase, for authentication and backend data storage

• Google services, for sign-in, ads, analytics, billing, or app distribution where applicable

• Apple services, where Apple Sign-In or Apple platform purchases are enabled

• Google Play / App Store billing services, when purchases are enabled

We may also make certain user-generated or league-related content visible to other users inside the app as described in the “Data Visible to Other Users” section.

We do not sell personal data.

9. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period unless we must retain some information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or compliance reasons.

10. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data directly from inside the app.

This deletion path is available without needing to reinstall the app.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your data

• Correct inaccurate data

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

12. Children

Rivalix is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law or platform policy.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including appropriate access controls and security measures for data storage and transmission.

However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own by our service providers.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers under applicable law.
